Internships

The general purpose of an internship is to give you practical experience applying the theory and content of course work in your field. Internships are typically considered a capstone experience, taken toward the latter half of your academic career. 

Career Opportunities

Our Industrial Design program prepares students for entry-level positions in a variety of career paths. Options related to either furniture or product design may be pursued with specializations including areas such as contract furniture, electronics, exhibit footwear, housewares, lighting, medical or toys. The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design degree affords graduates a wide variety of career opportunities, based on their individual interests, skills, talents and motivations.
